100% of the proceeds from each Chris’ Chance golf outing are used to fund scholarship programs established at Chris alma maters, as well as to provide grants and tangible gifts to deserving organizations, consistent with the Foundation’s mission.

Scholarship Programs

We are proud to have awarded a total of 35 scholarships to students from the inception of the foundation.  The foundation currently funds three scholarship programs:

  1. The first is an annual gift awarded to a Lakeland Regional High School (Wanaque, NJ) Senior member of the football team that demonstrates excellence in leadership, academics and athletics.
  2. The second is an endowment which provides annually a scholarship to a University of Rhode Island (URI) student.
  3. The third is a scholarship supporting an 8th grade football player, who is part of the Ringwood Rattlers football program (NJ).

We continue to support the efforts of the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) (i) Access For Athletes and (ii) Operation Rebound programs.

  1. Access For Athletes Program — Provides resources for adaptive sports equipment, sports prosthetics, training and competition expenses to those with physical challenges so that they can once again — or for the first time — participate in sports. CAF Access for Athletes Program
  2. Operation Rebound Program — Provides unparalleled sports opportunities and support to American troops and veterans of any branch of service and first responders who have suffered permanent physical injuries in the line of duty.  CAF Operation Rebound Program

Tangible Gifts

Several sports equipment grants to the Lakeland Regional High School and Ringwood Rattler football teams as well as to the Ringwood Christian School, on an as-needed basis.
